W.
James Antle III
Columnist
W. James Antle III has always had two passions: Writing and politics. Growing up, it was not uncommon for Jim to be writing political essays or reading the news while he was supposed to be doing his homework.
A Massachusetts native, he learned early to defend his conservative views in hostile territory while avoiding making political differences personal.
Although his interest has always been ideas and policy more than door-knocking and leafleting, Antle began volunteering on campaigns in high school and was very politically active during his stint at Ohio Wesleyan University. He also worked as a researcher for the Rhema Group, a political consulting firm that advised Republican candidates in northeast Ohio.
Antle is a senior editor for Enter Stage Right and a columnist for OpinioNet, American Daily, Intellectual Conservative, Mens News Daily, The Reality Check, WEBCommentary.com and The Patriotist in addition to The American Partisan. His work has also appeared in National Review Online, The American Spectator Online, The American Conservative, Tech Central Station, FrontPage Magazine, VDARE, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Capitalism Magazine, Brainwash, Razormouth, the Laissez Faire City Times, the Libertarian Enterprise, Washington Dispatch, Etherzone, Toogood Reports, the Milford Daily News, Political USA, Liberty Free Press, ConEye, the Sierra Times and CommonConservative.com, among other publications. His writing has been linked to by such high-traffic sites as RushLimbaugh.com, WorldNet Daily, Andrew Sullivan and LewRockwell.com. He has been quoted several times in The Federalist, The Internet's Conservative Journal of Record, and on-air by Rush Limbaugh.
He currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area where he works as an assistant editor of The American Conservative magazine. ***
