David Pyne
Columnist and Legal Analyst

David
T. Pyne, Esq. is a national security expert who resides in New Mexico with
his wife and four daughters. He currently serves as President of the Center
for the National Security Interest, a pro-defense, national security think-tank.
He has worked both as a defense contractor and International Programs Manager
responsible for the countries of the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and
Latin America. He has traveled as a member of Department of Defense-led delegations
to Canada, South Africa, Israel, Brazil and Argentina. He has also worked as
an International Analyst for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and for
the Department of the Navy and as a Research Assistant for the Center for Security
Policy.
Mr. Pyne previously served as an armor officer in the United States Army. He is a licensed attorney with a focus in international law and legislative law. He is also a member of the Center for Emerging National Security Affairs (CENSA). Mr. Pyne holds a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University (1992) where he minored in international relations and history, a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law (1995) and a MA degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service (2000). His areas of specialization include Eurasian geopolitics, arms control, national missile defense, US Army transformation and politico-military affairs in general. Mr. Pyne lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for two years from 1988-90 while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Pyne has been active in the political campaigns of several prominent conservative Republicans vying for state and national office and has held various campaign, grass roots and county Republican Party posts in California, Idaho, Utah, and Virginia. Mr. Pyne is presently serving as Executive Vice President of the Virginia Republican Assembly. Mr. Pyne's columns have been published on WorldNetDaily, The American Reformation Project, The American Partisan, USA Daily, the Washington Dispatch, Enter Stage Right, the Intellectual Conservative, the Patriotist and America's Voices.
