EVICTION
NOTICE

With the total destruction
of the World Trade Center in New York last month – not to mention other buildings
in the area as well, we now have a shortage of office space in New York that
has gone from serious to critical. With hundreds of companies and firms looking
now for a new professional home, I have a great place to put them – out by the
East River in the office building currently occupied by the parasitic United
Nations.
Think about it for a minute. The UN is an organization that pays no property taxes to either the City or State of New York in that the property is technically not on U.S. soil. However, they do use services provided by the community. ConEd provides the electricity, Verizon provides the basic telephone service, the City of New York provides the water, and the heat is provided by another utility.
Ever
since the UN moved to New York for their world headquarters, they have been
nothing but a drain on the city from the get-go. With diplomatic immunity, they
can and do get away with everything short of murder and sometimes they even
get away with that; it all depends on their weapon of choice. With diplomatic
plates on their cars, they park anywhere they feel like it, knowing that they
will be neither ticketed nor towed. Everywhere they go in the city, many of
them act as if they are the cat’s meow, when in fact they are but an invited
guest.
Regrettably, as in all too many cases involving privileges, it is the unfortunate disposition of most of “if you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile.” Most of the offenders are from third-world nations whose hatred of America is becoming more and more blatant. The recent UN Conference on Racism held in South Africa was nothing more than an anti-Israeli/anti-American orgy ranting about perceived injustices that was coupled by a complete unwillingness on their part to help themselves.
If there are injustices, they need to be addressed rationally and calmly in a fashion that is not conducive to a pack mentality. For a group of America-haters such as the UN has evolved into – especially over the last 15 years, it is time that the American people give the UN collective body notice – an eviction notice and boot them out of New York – for good. As for new digs, the UN need look no further than Geneva, Switzerland, where they have offices in place now. All they need to do is expand them. What’s more, as a completely neutral country, Switzerland is not even a member of the UN as such would violate its neutrality laws.
While Geneva would undoubtedly welcome the extra business that such a move would bring for them – especially in the way of revenue, America, and especially New York, would be even happier to be rid of the bums. And while we’re tossing them out of New York, we may as well withdraw our membership at the same time, if for no other reason but to ensure that our national sovereignty is respected by others and restored to preeminence by our own government.
