Soon your governor could have the sole power to order your every move, seize
private property and quarantine entire cities, simply by declaring a "public-health
emergency." In October of 2001, one month after 9/11, the "Model State Emergency
Health Powers Act" was drafted, by the Center for Law and the Public's Health
at Georgetown and John's Hopkins Universities, in collaboration with several
organizations including Healthy People 2010. The Model Act was created at the
request of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The analysis of the
bill focuses the attention on a "need to protect the health and safety of citizens
from epidemics and bioterrorism." The bill defines a "public safety emergency"
as:
"an occurrence or imminent threat of an illness or health condition, caused by bioterrorism, epidemic or pandemic disease, or novel and highly fatal infectious agent or biological toxin, that poses a substantial risk of a significant number of human fatalities or incidents of permanent or long-term disability. Such illness or health condition includes, but is not limited to, an illness or health condition resulting from a national disaster."
In the event of a declared public emergency, MSEHP also grants governors the power to include the management of persons and access to communications and forced vaccinations and treatment (Section 504), the tracking of individuals (Section 202), and access to patient records (Section 506) and the prohibition of firearms (Section 402 (c)… The Model, as written, overrides our civil-liberties protections now on the books. The masses are viewed as nothing more than cattle -- waiting to be led to the slaughter!
As one of the herd, I would go kicking and screaming against any forced inoculations. Some vaccines can be harmful or lethal to many sectors of the population - including smallpox vaccines which the government is developing against a future terrorist bio-attack. The Department of Health and Human Services is formulating a plan to manufacture 286 million doses (from aborted fetal cells dating back to 1966) - enough vaccine for every man, woman and child in the country. And yet there has been no credible evidence presented to suggest that the smallpox virus is going to be intentionally released by terrorists as a bioterrorism weapon.
Let's remember the forced inoculations given to our military men during the Gulf War. Servicemen who refused the Anthrax vaccinations were given various punishments, including courts-martial. Research suggests that one or more of the vaccines were unapproved; and now we have thousands of soldiers that have fallen ill with no help or concern from the government.
What about people who have religious beliefs that have always been exempted from taking or allowing their children to receive vaccinations -- the elderly with weakened immune systems -- those with allergies? What about those that simply don't do shots - like me? There's more to the "big picture" than meets the eye of the needle.
For many years we have been hearing about population control and the need to eliminate millions of people from the planet -- could this be a method to their planned madness? Or just another way to brand our USA hides - excuse me - UN hides.
What we dwell on and plan for is what eventually happens. The government is preparing us for the worst -- and that is just what we will get. Instead of the United States government preventing terrorism, they are inviting it.
Jonathan Turley, the Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University Law School, cautioned, "The best cure for terrorism may be a small dose of tyranny. Before we all bunker down under this emergency plan, we may want to read the fine print and consider our options."
One of the drafters of this bill, Lawrence O. Gostin, director for the Center for Law and the Public's Health at Georgetown and Johns Hopkins, served as the chairman of President and Hillary Clinton's Health Care Task Force group on Privacy and the Health Care Infrastructure in 1993. Why am I not surprised?
This Model Act is unwarranted because governors already retain the authority to declare emergencies -- an over eager governor could dictate "martial law" overnight. Since September 11, the Model Act and the "USA Patriot Act of 2001" have completely annihilated our Bill of Rights and every document sacred to these United States - and I guarantee they will come back to bite us in THE END! ***
