Columnist Ted Lang We all know of the Republicans' desire to regain control of the US Senate where political "Fagin," Senator Tom Daschle, and his sidekick, Senator Pat Leahy, have all but shut down the upper chamber. Democrat Socialists have blocked Bush's appropriations, judicial appointments and legislative proposals.

But Republicans will never retake the Senate during this administration. For not only is the Democratic Socialist party afloat thanks to the superior navigational skills of its Captain Blighs, Blackbeards and Eric the Reds, but it is marvelously buoyant and agile due to a sea of fools who'd rather elect a yellow dog Democrat than an honest Republican. We are a nation of entitlement-hungry sheeple, more than happy to be extorted out of our earnings and wealth by robin' hoods whom we return to power in hopes of getting something back. It's the Democratic Party's big "D" game called "dependency."

Combine this political charade with the dominance of the liberal media, and politicians are indeed "selected" as offered by super witch, Hillary Clinton. And speaking of witches, and Fagin-like magicians, why not recall the sin of Prometheus at this time of goblins, ghouls, and ghosties? Happy Hillaween!

In her 1818 book, "The Modern Prometheus," Mary Shelley draws a parallel to the mythological god that gave the gift of fire to Mankind. The god was condemned to an eternity of suffering for his sin in revealing the secret power. Shelley fictionalized the use of such knowledge and power, drawing an analogy to modern science that gives Man power over life and death, thereby demonstrating its abuse as the cause for its earthbound enabler's untold suffering. The book is better known as "Frankenstein."

It is continually professed that the only real certainties in life are death and taxes, implying that we as mere mortals have control of neither. But this is not so - at least, for Democrats. The Jersey media propagandizes the utopian paradise of Big Brother entitlements, the need for unlimited taxes, a woman's right to choose to murder, and gun control to create dependency on the state's police and population control agencies.

Liberal power allowed the NJ Supreme Court to ignore the law and replace Torricelli with political fossil Frank Lautenberg. NJ Democrats have unleashed the secrets of that most deadly of sciences known to Man: politics!

Lautenberg looks the part - the lines and wrinkles in his face are reminiscent of Karloff's "The Mummy" [1932] and would astonish both Universal pioneers Jack Pierce [make-up chief] and Carl Laemmle [founder]. A more arrogant, nastier, cold-hearted underachiever cannot be found. A true product of the political gutter, who proclaimed child pornographer Larry Flynt an "American patriot" for drawing blood from Republicans for responding to their justified impeachment of traitor Clinton.

Fuzz-faced socialist and Newark Star-Ledger Opinion Editor, Richard Aregood, in all likelihood produced the editorial effort on Sunday, October 27th that basically cited the Berg's opponent, Doug Forrester, as being inexperienced and not quite ready for prime time. That's funny - he took just the opposite position supporting left-liberal Democrat Socialist Jon Corzine, also a novice, who spent $65 million to buy his Senate seat running against seasoned, experienced Republican Bob Franks. Appears to be a yellow dog whine to me!

And a NJ News 12 jam session of sarcastic, liberal, jackass reporters, laughed over Lautenberg's inability to field simple questions, looking at the microphone as though it were a bomb about to go off and a deer-in-the headlights stare at the camera. They dismissed that saying, "Lautenberg was never good at speech-making." That's funny - isn't that what they continually attack Bush for? Isn't that why they always say that Bush is not ready for prime time? But Frankenstein's assistant, Algore, was a marvelous speaker complete with heavy breathing, although he couldn't identify the busts of Jefferson and Franklin!

So take care on election eve. And be alert even sooner during the celebration of All Saints. For back again, from the halls of Gothic horror, it's the creature politics and the media created, but couldn't destroy. It's FRANKENBERG! And Dem media goblins'll gitcha ya, if you don't watch out! ***
