Daschle of "The Party"

First, let's be clear on one thing: the Bush Revolution midterm elections have
displaced and seriously damaged Daschle's party of Big Government. They have
not only damaged it in terms of lost seats in both houses of Congress, but have
exposed their dangerous, anti-American, anti-Constitutional agenda as well.
And that ideological damage has as yet not been fully assessed. But of immediate
concern, at least to Daschle, is his deflating loss of power.
His viciousness in attacking Rush Limbaugh has done anything but mollify the perception the American people have of him and his party's obvious hatred for the opposition, whether that opposition emanates from the competing political party, or from an attack from a lesser communications media outlet. The American people are cognizant of the mainstream establishment media monopoly the Democratic Party has, and how that advantage has been used as an effective albeit dangerous propaganda tool.
It is distinctive American competition in the free marketplace amongst business competitors that assures the best value for consumers. And it is competition between differing viewpoints and the struggle for majority acceptance that formulates the best of governments, as long as individual rights of the losing minority are not crushed. And in this regard, I remind the reader of Democrat Senator Edward P. "Ted" Kennedy's political philosophy of "facing down individual rights."
Facing down and eliminating individual citizens' rights, while forging a majority based upon monopoly control of a subservient, doting media affords The Party the ability to lie, cheat, steal and swindle their way into public power. Is it Daschle's contention that he and his fellow Party members have not availed themselves of this advantage? Daschle's rant that Limbaugh's opposition is life threatening is more than sour grapes over his lost prestige in blowing the midterm elections.
What could be more life threatening than the manipulation of FAA records directly causing the deaths of three individuals flying in a piece of junk Daschle and his wife had re-certified as FAA safe to do a friend a favor? Where were Maureen Dowd and The New York Times on this? And where were Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw and Peter Jennings when Daschle saddled the American taxpayer with huge potential environmental liabilities by maneuvering midnight legislation benefiting his Homestake Mining cronies?
It is The Party that is mean-spirited, extremist, anti-Semitic, and threatening to old folks. It is The Party that is racist. Where are the blacks in government from the first "black president?" Where are The Party's Colin Powell and Condeleezza Rice? The Party invented Socialist Security, but who put a tax on the benefits? Wasn't that Clinton and Gore? Where's Time
