Jesse Jackson...What A Joke!

The same man that marched with Martin Luther King and stood on a Memphis balcony
over the life-less body of that famed civil rights leader, has not only defamed
King's name...He has become an extortionist as well as a media-pig. Jesse Jackson
travels the country blackmailing various corporations and organizations, while
producing media stunts in between trips to the bank.
Jackson recently was arrested at a small Labor Day rally for striking service
and clerical workers at Yale University. Jackson was arrested first...Anyone
else think that may have been staged? According to CNN, Jackson said: "This
is the site of Labor Day outrage! This is going to be for economic justice what
Selma was for the right to vote!" A bit over-dramatic...Don't you think?
Rev. Jackson has not held an actual job in the last 35 years. The man blackmails
Fortune 500 companies into giving his Rainbow-Push Coalition enormous sums of
money. If the company refuses, he threatens them with a boycott. Can anyone
tell me how this benefits black people? The only black people that seem to be
benefiting from Jackson's efforts are himself and his cronies.
The fact of the matter is, the Civil Rights Movement succeeded. The government
passed laws giving unprecedented aid to minorities, we now live with hiring-quotas,
race-based scholarships, and affirmative action. The 'old guard' has given way
to big government, which has made it acceptable to discriminate against white
people. I am sick of hearing 'black leaders' such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton
say that there is "so much more to do", " so many more battles
left to fight". What more do they want?
Jesse showed up at this Labor Day rally at snooty Yale University to stand beside
a few hundred workers (who like the rest of us, feel under-paid and over-worked).
This self-styled millionaire martyr then had the nerve to compare that paltry
gathering to the Selma March! It is clear that Jesse is now simply grasping
at straws.
To Jesse Jackson...GET A JOB! ***
