They Can't Even Say The Word!

It has always struck me as rather amusing that so-called 'pro-choice' advocates
substitute the word 'choice' for abortion. Could it be caused by this mealy-mouthed,
politically-correct culture, whereby it is believed if you change the name,
you somehow change the condition? Or could it be that the 'pro-choice' crowd
shares the same knowledge which we unsophisticated 'pro-lifers' are not afraid
to say in public?...Abortion is murder!
I have known many 'pro-choice' advocates and all of them steer away from actually saying the "A" word. They instead refer to it as "a woman's right to choose". They may adorn their imported automobile with bumper stickers which proclaim: "My Body, My Choice!". Do you suppose that these advocates of infanticide have perhaps, hidden away somewhere in the deepest recesses of their hearts, the notion that killing a baby is wrong? I believe that is exactly the case and I would submit that even the abortion-loving Senator Diane Fienstein (D-CA) knows how horrible it is, hence the double-speak. The only people who are not afraid to utter the "A" word are those of us who say it is wrong and wish to expose it for the crime it truly is!
While your garden variety liberals and groups such as the 'League of Women Vipers' or Emily's List ( a 'pro-choice' group which sends re-educated young people around the country to work for candidates who wish to keep abortion legal)are very good at sugar-coating or talking-around the issue of abortion...No one does it better than a liberal politician while courting your vote.
Here in Virginia, we are on the eve of elections for the Virginia State Senate as well as for the Virginia House of Delegates. I recently attended a debate which was held for candidates for both the State Senate and the House of Delegates. The question of abortion (for or against) was posed to all of the candidates. While the Republican candidates - State Senator Nick Rerras (R-6th district) and Tom Dix (R-Candidate for Delegate) both proclaimed very proudly their 'pro-life' views and Rerras went on to speak about "the value and sanctity of life"...The Democrats predictably double-talked their way around the issue. Andy Protogyrou (D-Candidate for State Senate) said, "My mom told me a long time ago, that no man would ever tell her what she could do with her body!". Now, I understand that his mother is 75 years old and a devout Christian, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt on the validity of that statement. However, Mr. Protogyrou never mentioned the "A" word (Mr. Protogyrou actually has two young women working on his campaign who are being paid by Emily's List). Linwood Lewis (D-Candidate for Delegate) answered the abortion question by saying: "There are three entities involved here: the woman, her doctor, and God". I found it curious that Mr. Lewis failed to mention the two other "entities" involved in this abhorrent procedure: The father of the child and more importantly...THE CHILD!
You see, so called 'pro-choice' advocates, whether they be mealy-mouthed politicians or Birkenstock-wearing, would be 'coffee house poets' have one thing in common...They don't like the "A" word because as heavily hidden as it may be, they still contain a sliver of that which is good and though they may never admit it...They too know abortion to be murder! ***
