NEW YORK CITY -- UNITED NATIONS
My visit to the United Nations (U.N.) revealed Hillary Clinton as their fair-haired darling. As soon as I stepped inside the U.N. bookstore I had Hillary staring at me from every angle. Her book, "Living History" was centrally placed on the display wall (and stacked throughout the store) along with books by Nelson Mandela, Henry Kissinger, and Queen Noor, plus endless publications on deceased politicians and U.N. literature. In fact, you can't get away from her face anywhere in New York City. Literally, open any door and there she is!
While visiting the Department of Public Information, I inquired as to how a person becomes an accredited journalist for the U.N. Of course, I already knew that one must be in the loop -- connected to the mainstream media. They want to be assured that what they want reported, gets reported, in the way they want it reported! I guess that leaves me out!
A large Pepsi-Cola sign looms out of the water like it is standing guard over the U.N. complex. The Trump World Plaza, one of The Donald's infamous towers, stands directly across the street from the U.N. -- Bill Gates owns the entire top floor. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have contributed billions to the U.N.. This is just a wild guess, but I don't think he woke up one day and suddenly decided to donate beaucoup bucks to the U.N. all on his own. Just one big happy family,Trump, Gates, Pepsi-Cola and the U.N - very interesting!
Those of you that have used the U.N. Post Office know that they have their own postal system and their own stamps. Regular stamps that we use everyday in this country can not be used to mail a letter from there. Therefore they are their own entity - their own country, so to speak.
The United Nations is not United States friendly - go take a look at the Meditation Room (designed for the emotions of a robot). However, hundreds of people from across the globe come everyday to soak it up, buying endless amounts of U.N. memorabilia. My parting thoughts -- it's THEM against US.
WASHINGTON, D.C - CAPITOL HILL
As I walked around the Capitol, excuse me "the fortress," I was holding back the tears. The beautiful Capitol building that I always looked forward to entering was now hidden by trees and a huge wall. The magnificent view of the Capitol steps where one could walk, sit, or freely demonstrate, is gone. The public is no longer welcome (unless you have an appointment). Are we really so stupid? If a "terrorist" has an intended target, a wall will not be a deterrent. What ever we resist or fear is the thing that controls us - so we might as well say the "terrorists" have won.
Every time I turned up a street that I normally drove in the past, I found a road block. Finally, I had to ask a policeman how to get to where I was going. Sadly, I was not even permitted to go to the Senate Chaplains office, where I had always been free to go. Men armed with machine guns guard the castle doors! After a few questions, I was told that the Capitol will probably never be opened to the public again. My mind was stirred to thoughts of our 200 year history, the paintings, and the rotunda with the grand statues.
It appears that a visitor's center is being built right next to the Capitol and will be completed in 2005. Time will tell how much historical truth makes it to that "visitor's center." On page 56 of my book "So Help Me God" - while discussing the Myth of Church and State, I wrote: "When in Washington I love gazing upon the scriptures and Christian sayings. Is everything bearing the name of God going to be sandblasted?" No blasting required now -- it is simply "off limits."
One can still go sit in the Gallery to watch Congress at work; however, they do not make it easy to get there. People are herded to the back of the Capitol (outside) and then must make their way up several flights of steps (elevator use not permitted). In essence, they are discouraging the idea. The White House and the Capitol no longer belong to "the people" -- even though "the peoples" hard earned (tax) dollars pays for it all!
When speaking with Capitol guards, and friends in Washington, they said: "If you had been through what we went through on 9/11, and watched the black smoke billowing high in the sky - you would be glad these barriers and heavy security are in place." Of course, I didn't tell them that that is exactly the reaction the government counts on. We are being thrown a "freedom" curve that is disintegrating as fast as a summer-snow-ball - and most Americans obliviously believe they are catching it! Don't buy the lie! ***
"Giving up freedom, for freedom, is not freedom!"
