Good
Bye, Good Luck, Good Riddance!

This
week the military told us about the deaths of Saddam Husseins sons,
Qusay and Uday, in a firefight with troops from the 101st Airborne. Apparently,
an accurate visual identification of the pair was possible from viewing their
corpses. However, DNA analyses will also be run to confirm their identities.
As much as I feel I should, I have a hard time feeling any sympathy for the death of this pair of bloodthirsty mongrels. The forces of evil just lost two of their biggest henchmen. The world is certainly better off without them.
The deck of 55 cards that were issued to our troops has now seen two more Aces captured or killed. The U.S. military is holding all the big cards except one. Saddam Hussein, is the only Ace left to put in a hole. May we do it soon!
In order to better understand my feelings about the deaths these two animals, then you have to know more about them:
As
heir apparent to the throne Qusay, 37 (right, deceased), supervised Saddams
"elite"Republican Guard. He is also the one who put down the Shiite
uprising for his father. If he wasnt personally responsible for the gassing
of hundreds of Shiites, then he no doubt approved the actions that led to countless
numbers of their grisly deaths.
Uday,
39 (left, also deceased), was responsible for running the fanatics from the
paramilitary Fedayeen. As head of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, Uday often tortured
athletes who failed to win. Even by his fathers standards, the elder child
was extraordinarily violent. Uday was briefly jailed by his father for killing
one of Saddams most trusted friends. He also was infamous for randomly
selecting hundreds of womenor girls as young as 12 or 13to be brought
to him and raped.
All I can say about their deaths is: Good bye, good luck, and good riddance!
If Qusay and Uday had simply been captured, perhaps we could have gleaned some useful information from them about the whereabouts of Saddam or the location of the weapons of mass destruction. Yet it is also quite likely that American and International Human Rights groups would have come crawling out of the woodwork. It would have been the usual suspects, those same human rights activists who whined about the treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo and cared nothing about the abuse, tortures, and murders of innocent Iraqis. No doubt they would have accused us, in our pursuit of information, of abusing or torturing these sons of er, Saddam.
Their imprisonment might also have led to their supporters kidnapping innocent citizens and holding them for ransom, then demanding the release of Qusay and Uday. I also have a problem with feeding, clothing, and housing their worthless, mangy hides for the rest of their miserable lives. Therefore, I think it best that they died of severe lead poisoning.
The best reason for their deaths might be the added safety it could give to our troops. Physiologically, the Iraqi people will now begin to actually believe that a vengeful Saddam and his sons will not eventually stage a comeback and return to power in Baghdad. Moreover, these increasingly violent guerilla attacks on U.S. forces by Saddam loyalists may have been orchestrated and coordinated by Qusay and Uday. Perhaps they will now cease.
I dont see any downside to their deaths. This is clearly good news for America and our troops. With the deaths of the sons, it will only be a matter of time until the Ace of Spades is permanently removed from the deck. Lets pray that it happens soon. Then Saddam can send his regards to Allah for all of us.
The enemies of America and the enemies of innocent Iraqi citizens are still
on the run. The 101st Airborne and our Commander-in-Chief deserve our sincerest
thanks. We are holding all the chips in this card game. And if youre still
counting, that is three Aces down and one to go. ***
