Is Pet Ownership is Destroying the Lives of Americans? YES!
An Overview

Contributing Columnist Carole WadeMy new book exposes America’s Dog Worship and its Serious Implications. “I have heard and read over and over again that dogs add years to a person’s life. It is rubbish. In fact, dogs are not beneficial to a person’s life.” In my essay “Is Pet Ownership Destroying the Lives of Americans?” now a new book of the same title, I exposes the truth behind Americans’ obsession with dogs and its ugly implications to their health and lifestyle.

And after carefully researching my book's material for over three years, I discovered how the overpowering fifty-billion-dollars-a-year pet industry cashes in on lonely dog owner’s and their pocketbooks.

My new book is enlightening and provocative. Is Pet Ownership Destroying the Lives of Americans? Yes. My book is a work of advocacy research focusing on dog owners and pet-parenting gone overboard I feel that the subject of my book is timely and provocative.

All of my quotes in my book are from publications which reflect the urgency of today’s growing number of pet-parents who eat, sleep, and bathe with their dogs. Revealing that dog owners have crossed health boundaries through their obsession with their animals is truthful and troubling. Dog ownership is posing a serious threat not only to our health but to our children’s health. Dog ownership has also harmed our lifestyle as rational human beings. Dog ownership has marginalized children.
