ALL ABOUT SEX

In
studying Islamofascists, we need to closely look at Islamic culture and values
and how those are practiced. Like most religions, zealots exist within the ranks
who distort religious teachings to validate their own predetermined bigotries.
Using religion and/or God as a weapon to inflict psychological or spiritual
abuse on others is often looked upon by these types as a bonus.
A major Islamic tenet is that of multiple wives. Let's do the math here: Say roughly half the men in a country, such as Saudi Arabia, have two wives on average. At this point, if you put the population as roughly 50-50 in the male/female dynamic, then at this point, you know upwards of half the men within that society won't have marriage opportunities unless they're one of the lucky few who go to either Europe or North America for advanced education, and where there is a much larger pool of eligible women.
Sadly, most of these men remain in their homelands with no viable prospects of marriage, let alone posterity to either carry on the family name, or with which to otherwise create a legacy. These men, most often perceived as 'losers' by those around them, are precisely the types exploited for recruitment by al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, and others who see terrorism as mere foreplay into what has to be their ultimate wet dream: using nukes against the "Great Satan." After all, with no promise of a 'real' or a 'normal' life in mortality, these desperate and easily manipulated young men will jump at any chance for glory and immortality. Lest we forget, a couple of the 9-11 hijackers took a pass on a couple of hookers at Copley Square in Boston on September 10th, because the working girls would not give them a discount. Remember, 9-11 was carried out on a shoestring budget.
With
that in mind, such terrorism tasks are assigned to these men by the 'leaders'
of the group. These 'losers' eagerly anticipate the promise of '72 virgins'
waiting for them in paradise, all on behalf of killing themselves - and as many
others as possible - in the name of Allah. In so doing, they blaspheme the very
faith they allegedly profess. I find it convenient how terror leaders shy away
from the 'wet work', but then again, the leaders have wives and children, and
the younger men are seen as expendable. Someone never told these young men that
the promised virgins all look like Helen Thomas.
Before anyone thinks I'm doing a witch hunt on Islamic teachings, other groups also merit examination. America has its own nut-jobs who engage in similar practices with a twist just as, if not even more depraved.
The
2007 trial in Utah of Warren Jeffs (left), head of the Fundamentalist Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, (FLDS), led to both a conviction and a
sentence of ten years to life. This group splintered from the mainstream Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1890 when the main body renounced
polygamy, and which now excommunicates members found to be practicing it.
This prompted splinter groups (such as FLDS and others) to break off from the
main body of the Church, becoming progressively more depraved over the years
as they pursued their commitment to what is an illegal action both in this country
and others as well.
Determined to keep polygamy in practice, the FLDS separated themselves from the rest of society and set up shop in twin border communities along the Utah-Arizona line, where they continue their lifestyle and for the most part, were left alone...that is, until allegations of teenage rape surfaced. Jeffs himself was on the run as an FBI Ten Most Wanted until he was unceremoniously captured during a traffic stop in Nevada.
In addition to arranged teenage marriages to men older than their fathers, FLDS Church leaders saw it necessary to eliminate any competition they might have for these underage girls by excommunicating the teenage boys and anyone else their 'prophet-leader' thought may have posed a threat to what amounted as their own personal private harem, such as the 21-year-old woman who tearfully testified about her 'forced marriage' at age 14 to a cousin who forced himself on her. Last I checked, "NO!" still means "NO!" Despite Jeffs' incarceration, he nonetheless was able to hand-pick which of his followers would be allowed to migrate to the Texas compound, and who stayed behind in the Utah and Arizona communities they originally settled in.
Jeffs, a prophet? Yeah. Sure. Right. Apparently neither a good one nor an accurate one. Had Jeffs thought of something other than pleasing 'Mr. Happy', he would have picked any place other than Texas. As we have learned, Texas takes laws regarding child abuse and forced underage marriages very seriously, as the raids on the FLDS compound have demonstrated. Now that the lid has been blown off this scandalous renegade sect, perhaps the innocent victims of all this - the children - can experience some much overdue healing, and a shot - only a shot, at living a normal life.
Regardless of what FLDS leadership calls it, like Catholic priests and an increasing number of nuns who had their way with both boys and girls, it's called pedophilia. One cannot wrap themselves up in religion when they are in fact, nothing more than a bunch of kiddy-rapers.
Someone needs to remind these extremists of two things:
1. That religion is to bring someone closer to God or their higher power, and
not as an outlet for one's sexual appetites; and
2. That fundamentalism is nothing more than facing the future by looking backwards.
In short, Islamofascists are no different than any other zealots; they just
have an added fatalist streak. In some ways that makes them more dangerous;
in other ways, we've come to realize through the Jeffs trial, the Texas FLDS
compound, and ongoing Catholic sex abuse scandals, that dangers here at home
must be forcefully addressed as well. Until these groups learn this, they'll
find themselves either in prison for a very long time, or be dispatched straight
to Hell, where they and others of their ilk belong. ***
