How Obama manipulates the media and uses White Guilt to turn the
Constitution on its head in fulfilling his vision for an American USSR

Over the years, the one Washington trait most sickening to America is the 'usual way of doing business.' All 'business as usual' accomplished was landing us in a financial crater from which we may never emerge. For that, we can thank George W. Bush, and especially Barack Obama, who continues enjoying his free ride by a media either still in Worship Service, or living in fear of the 'O-nointed One', lest they be called 'racist'.

The mega-trillion-dollar financial hole in which we now reside came about because two chief executives have no measurable knowledge of responsible governance. Most people over 40 remember that when the stock market lost 22 percent of its value in a single trading session of 6½ hours back in 1987, the banks did not ask for help, nor did President Reagan offer any. The movers and shakers knew they screwed up and took their lumps; unaided, the economy quickly recovered. The alleged 'recovery' happening now is at best a watered-down version of what we could be enjoying, were it not for governmental meddling and interference. Ronald Reagan best stated it at his 1981 inauguration, "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem." Clearly, this wisdom has been ignored by the misfits currently holding the White House under siege.

Whereas Reagan allowed free market forces to right its own ship, Team Obama is bound and determined to keep as many banks chained to them as possible, so as to effect a de-facto nationalization of the United States banking system, all as part of his insatiable need for power and control, in much the same manner as cartoon characters Pinky and the Brain. Such comparison brings with it an eerie resemblance to the worst qualities of both characters. Obama seems to have Brain's ears, and Pinky's complete lack of intelligence, as it pertains to what makes America the world's greatest success story ever. It's not about governance with Obama and his puppeteers; it's about control, pure and simple.

Ignoring 'common sense', Obama is pursuing - with a vengeance - his own vision of the Soviet Union, only in this case it would be the United States Socialist Republics (USSR). Obama views the Constitution as nothing more than Kleenex to wipe his nose, or worse, as toilet paper, as so aptly illustrated in any of a number of images available online.

First, Obama went after General/Government Motors and Chrysler, and for lack of a better term, nationalized two-thirds of the American car industry by way of 'bailout'. Obama also pushed through Congress, using whatever leverage he could assemble, a nationalized health care plan, using the nations of Canada and Great Britain as models of 'success.' Both of these government-run programs are now facing potential insolvency because of inherently fatal flaws, based on an economic model that is run by government accountants instead of working through a partnership of health care providers, patient advocates and other appropriate checks and balances. This notion of checks and balances repulses this current administration, far more so than the Clinton administration. Team Obama does as they please, without regard for the rule of law or established legal protocols.

On legislative matters, Obama bullied Congress into going along with his agenda, to include offering bribes, kickbacks and other multi-million dollar bones thrown both at Nebraska's Ben 'Cornhusker Kickback' Nelson and Louisiana's Mary Landrieu. When Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY) refused to vote yes, Obama's leg-breaker-in-chief Rahm Emmanuel engaged in a power play that forced Massa out of the House in disgrace prior to the vote. It's not at all surprising the White House sat on that information until it became convenient for them. Again, my point here is how a whole lot of Americans - in addition to myself - are tired of the 'business as usual' and 'pay-to-play' philosophies of both parties that has driven our republic to the edge of ruin.

These antics set the wheels in motion for the birth of the 'Modern' Tea Party, which like its Colonial counterpart, had said 'Enough!' It is people such as those in the 'Modern' Tea Party who once again will rescue this nation from the gross ineptitude, recklessness, lawlessness and depravity that ooze both from the White House and the Halls of Congress. This political contagion threatens to contaminate the Supreme Court through the nomination of an unqualified Elena Kagan to its ranks, a nomination that MUST NOT receive necessary Senate approval.
