THE
IOWA HORSE RACE CONTINUES
by Timothy Rollins, Editor and Columnist
How Michele Bachmann's ineptitude and incompetence has clearly shown yet again that she was never qualified to make a serious run for the highest office in the land.

EDITOR'S UPDATE: According to a Huffington
Post report late December 28th, Michele Bachman's Iowa Campaign Chairman,
State Senator Kent Sorenson (R), resigned abruptly Wednesday evening, not only
abandoning her campaign, but also immediately endorsing the candidacy and campaign
of her rival, Dr. Ron Paul (R-TX), seriously wounding, and also quite possibly
killing the Bachmann candidacy outright. ***
Are
you unhappy with the upcoming Iowa Caucus polls? Wait 10 minutes
they'll
change, as it's now a two-man race between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney, with no
clear leader among the seven candidates. Perhaps the most problematic
candidate is Michele Bachman (right), aka Lawyer Barbie. We all know Bachmann
'bet it all on red' and pulled out a win at the Iowa Straw Poll in August. She
got there by declaring her candidacy in Waterloo, where she was born and lived
until she was in 1st Grade, repeatedly emphasizing in her announcement speech
that she was BORN in Iowa.
Yet the straw poll results and the deliberate maltreatment Ron Paul got the next day from FOX News talking heads was so blatant that Jon Stewart's Comedy Central coverage not only was the most accurate, it caused me to lose all respect for FOX NEWS in regards to having any sense of 'fair and balanced' coverage they once prided themselves on possessing all this, because FOX News was exposed as a bald-faced lie. Even my non-political 15-year-old son saw FOX NEWS' treatment of Ron Paul for the fraud it was. When FOX starts hyping Santorum as a top tier candidate, I knew there was only so much my stomach could handle...
Chances are that Lawyer Barbie and Rick Santorum will drop out of the race come January 4th. Santorum will return to Pennsylvania, and Lawyer Barbie will return to Congress in her pathetically desperate attempt to hold on to her House seat, which she most likely will lose in November. If anything, she would do well to perhaps update her résumé, given the current nationwide backlash against her.
Should Michele Bachmann and her husband Marcus divorce within six months of her losing reelection - which is increasingly likely - along with his 'pray the gay away' pseudo-practice in Minnesota going in the tank with its own controversy, Lawyer Barbie more than likely will seek employment in a lobbying gig on K Street, the very place she railed against, exposing her as an even bigger hypocrite if such is humanly possible.
Bachmann won her three Congressional elections with an average of 49.6% of the vote, having split the vote in two of those elections, a clear indication that voters in Minnesota's 6th District preferred to stay home rather than vote for her. It's easy to see that voters at home pretty much want anybody BUT Bachmann there the same way America wants anyone BUT Obama in The White House at this point.
The fact that Bachmann voted to extend the unconstitutional PATRIOT Act, as well as voted to 'ravage' the Constitution with a YES vote on the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA), forever disqualifies her as any form of a Constitutional Conservative, because she is neither, as her vote shows her true colors, despite her histrionic protestations to the contrary. Lawyer Barbie wore out her welcome through her complete inability to give anyone an honest answer in 25-words-or-less. She simply can't tell the truth; it's not in her hard wiring, not to mention she's in completely over her head.
For someone so quick to 'wrap herself up in Jesus and the Flag', one cannot help but wonder that if Jesus Christ came down, put Bachmann on the stand himself, and personally cross-examined her, she STILL would not give a straight and simple answer. Leonardo DaVinci once said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication", a truth that seems to be completely lost on Lawyer Barbie.
Michele Bachman is an incompetent, corrupt, sleazy, unethical opportunist whose 'alleged' fair-weathered commitment to her faith allows her to conveniently resign her church membership when she prepared to run for president. Whether or not you agree with the religious beliefs of Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum or Dr. Ron Paul, at least those men have remained consistent in the private observance of their religion, and NONE of them have ever resigned their church memberships in their pursuit of the presidency.
Lawyer Barbie and her husband Marcus did exactly that this past summer. In so doing, she placed the false god of the presidency of the United States - as well as her ambition - above her relationship with the Divine, putting God and Jesus Christ somewhere further down the ladder, making it clear to America and the world that she is no different a megalomaniac than Newt Gingrich, or for that matter, Barack Obama.
And with that, America will show its wisdom by sending Bachmann where she belongs, into history's dustbin of failed presidential candidates. ***
