IN DEFENSE OF POLITICAL INCORRECTNESS
by Timothy Rollins, Editor and Columnist

Tim shows how the lynching of Paula Deen now is no different than the one done on Rush Limbaugh last year and how the PC double-standard today remains alive, well, and ready to place its jackboot firmly on your throat if you DARE to stray from the party line.

Timothy Rollins - Beneath the SurfacePaula DeenWhat we've seen this week with the widescale abandonment of one of television's most popular cooks in regards to Paula Deen's being dropped by the Food Network, is a high-tech lynching the likes of which we haven't seen since Clarence Thomas went through the same crap when he was forced to face a second inquisition panel masquerading as US Senators in 1991. Thank God Orrin Hatch did the right thing back then, and Anita Hill was sent packing to oblivion where she belongs.

All this flak began because of a long-ago transgression where Paula Deen (pictured, right) used the dreaded 'n'-word, which happened to be the cherished favorite of the late Senator Robert 'Sheets' Byrd (D-WV), who was a long-time member of, and in fact was a Ku Klux Klan Exalted Cyclops. You remember Klukkers, don't you? They're losers who go around wearing pee-stained bed sheets and hoods, and who lack the stones to publicly identify themselves…not unlike modern-day terrorists both in and out of America obsessed with jihad now, right???

Despite the fact that Deen made a completely unnecessary apology tour - as her career over the years speaks positive volumes - the false gods of political correctness decided to go after both her head and hide for this by 'forcing' sponsors to cut her loose in almost exactly the identical way sponsors dropped Rush Limbaugh in February 2012 when Rush correctly referred to Sandra Fluke as a 'slut', which he rightfully did, and which she rightfully was as well. The contrasts between the two comparisons could not be any clearer than night and day!

In one corner, we have Paula Deen, whose cooking and recipes have led many people to better enjoy their cooking. While some have criticized her cooking as not being heart-healthy, Paula made adjustments over the years not only to address those concerns, but to address the issue that she's diabetic, and has worked with a pharmaceutical company in better educating other diabetics on these matters as well. The diabetic contract is on hold until the fallout subsides, and the lynch mob takes their torches and pitchforks, goes home and shuts the hell up.

Let's look at this matter closer, shall we? Who among us hasn't screwed up at one time or another, and said something they wanted to take back? The fact is, times have changed over the last 10, 20, 30, 40, and especially over the last 50 years in a South (where Paula Deen grew up) that seethed with racial hatred. Paula Deen made amends, yet was impaled on the altar of the false gods of political correctness and her livelihood damaged, if not destroyed outright, simply because of one disgruntled person who took her to litigation.

Then-Georgetown Law Student Sandra FlukeOn the 'flip' side, we had Sandra Fluke (pictured, left) - who at the time was a Georgetown University Law student - a Catholic university, no less, claiming she was going broke on birth control pills, and even having the temerity to go before Congress seeking free birth control pills as part of a contraception mandate in the ObamaCare package. She could have economized far more easily by seeing a doctor as part of her student health package, and been fitted for a 'catcher's mitt/diaphragm', which would have only set her back about $60, and been used year-round, thus detonating her 'going broke' angle.

Her case was fatally flawed from the get-go. By prostituting herself on C-SPAN and the nation, she showed little regard for anything in her life other than the springboard between her legs with its built-in revolving door, and in the process, killed off almost any chance of getting the opportunity to ever practice law.

Remember this: All applicants to practice law in the United States - not only must pass the bar or be otherwise eligible to practice law - they must also be of good moral character before they can be issued a license to practice in any US state, territory, or the District of Columbia. I find it extremely hard, if not impossible, that any state bar association - especially after the degree of notoriety that Sandra Fluke brought upon herself - will see fit to issue her a license to practice law anywhere in America.

Now that Democrats have thrown her under the bus - as they did Cindy Sheehan and every other useful idiot they no longer have need for - perhaps Fluke will learn that discretion is indeed the better part of valor, and that impulses recklessly exercised in youth can indeed come back and bite one on the butt. ***
