Be brief

Judge Stang reminds us that, “Nothing long is ever pleasing… Brevity is the soul of wit, the sine qua non of lingerie, the judicious use of words that cover more ground than they occupy.”* To this missive, the author can add very little.

*Yes, Judge Stang is a fictional character, but he is, in his own words, “An immortal fictional character.”
