| Frequently
Asked Questions
At
The American Partisan, we get asked
lots of questions everyday. Often some of those questions
repeat themselves; others we do not have enough time
to answer. So we have compiled a Q&A of our most
Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:
What is "The American
Partisan"?
A:
The American Partisan is the efforts of many writers,
editors and artists combining forces to create something
resembling a magazine or newspaper. We deal mainly
in social and political commentary, but also offer
extensive resources and information.

Q:
How often do you guys publish?
A:
We update everyday with periodic updates throughout
the day as stories develop. Generally, a complete
update is performed between 8:00 and 11:00 p.m. Eastern
(U.S.) Time. That's 5 to 8 p.m for you West Coast
readers.

Q:
Can I write for you guys?
A:
Can you? We welcome submissions all the time. However,
not all submissions will be published. Submissions
should be timely, interesting and above all, well
written.
--
Timely: Is it a story based on something that is happening
in the world? Or are you just now catching up with
the Clinton impeachment trial? Keep current - old
news is well, old.
--
Interesting: So, you've written yet another story
about Elian Gonzalez. Send him home! Let him stay!
We have heard it. It is BORING and we don't care anymore.
Write about something no one else has. Come on.. TRY.
--
Well Written: If your article makes no sense, it won't
be published. The Publisher can't tell you how many
articles a day he gets that go nowhere and say nothing.
We
DO have the right to reject anything we want and it
is not your right to be published here. Then again,
if we think your stuff is awesome, look for an invitation
to become a regular columnist!

Q:
I keep seeing the word "TAP"
appear on many pages and sections. What
does "TAP" mean?
A:
For those who are a bit slower, it is an acronym for
"The American Partisan."

Q:
If you guys are a Conservative
publication, then why do you have so many
Liberal and Libertarian writers?
A:
For starters, the American Partisan is NOT a Conservative
publication. We encompass many political persuations.
We like to think of ourselves as the "Commentary
Supermarket" of the Internet. Please read Our Mission Statement for more information.

Q:
I noticed that you have many news feeds
and such sent into you guys. Isn't that
expensive?
A:
You're right - it is. So is just keeping this site
on the Web. That is why you see those pretty banners
on every page. That is how YOU can see this without
paying anything, but yet allow us to make enough to
pay the bills.
None
of us earns a salary, we just love the art of thought.

Q:
Does any special interest organization own you guys?
A:
NO WAY! Our Publisher is very anti-statist and likes
to owe nothing to nobody. TAP is presently owned by
the Rollins Media Group, a company founded by the
Publisher.
